Beginning in 1971, Maynard J. Hellman spent 30 years in the private practice of law representing lenders and real estate developers in commercial transactions and corporate clients in various facets of business transactions.
In 2001, Maynard was a founder, President and General Counsel of Lakeview Health Systems, LLC where he oversaw the company’s healthcare compliance, expansion and corporate governance until the company was sold to a private equity group in 2012.
In 2013, Maynard joined the hedge fund, Barnstar Opportunities Fund as an investor and General Counsel overseeing compliance in the implementation of best practices until 2015.
